I have used almost every anti-virus/internet security software and every anti-virus is good to some extent.....But for me, Eset tops d list.........It is very simple n incredibly very fast....But it is very important to update it on a regular basis....Officially ESet doesn’t hv d feature of offline update.......So m sharing offline updates wid u.....Update regularly coz thousands of new virus r born/invented every day.

Eset 6

Tip: If u r concerned about security, then i'll advice u to install Eset 4 instead of Eset 6 because both provide same protection again viruses and malwares.... Both have same base GUI set up of catching and attacking viruses...Both have same Virus Signature Database....

I'm recommending Eset 4 because it's very silent, doesn't need any registry editing, doesn't need any activator and offline update works flawlessly....Still final decision is urs..

 Follow These Steps :

#1. Uninstall any other previous version and install setup of Eset V6..

#2. Reboot your computer in safe mode.

#3. Open Pure Fix and click on "Enable" and then close pure fix..

#4. Open "Registry Editor".

• In Windows 7, click on start button and write regedit in "search program and files bar" and select regedit from above

• In Windows Xp, click on "Start" and then click "run"and then type regedit and click Ok.

#5. Double click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" then click  on "SOFTWARE",  then on "Eset",  then on "Eset Security", then on "Current Version", then on "Info"

#6. On the right hand side of Registry Editor, search for "PackageFeatures"and double click on it, change the value data to 1 (by default, it is 53)

#7. Restart ur computer in normal mode and then download the update file from here....Extract that file and copy the address of that folder..

#8. Open Eset and press F5, a new set up window will open..

#9. On the left side, there will be some categories. Double click on “Update” and then select “Update" from the extended list..

#10. On the right side, click on “Edit” and paste the address of the folder (that you copied in Step 7) in the “Update Servers” directory. Click on “add” and then “ok” twice to return to the Eset.

#11. Click on “Update” and then “Update Virus Signature Database”.

Eset is activated and able to update offline as well, but you’ll notice that the main screen of Eset is blank...If that bothers you then proceed with the following step:

#12. Restart in safe mode and perform step 4, 5 and 6 (mentioned above) again but this time you have to write “53” in the “Value data”

Note: If you perform step 12, then everytime you want to update your ESET, you need to change the value data to “1”...

Eset 5 Offline Update

Few days back, Eset released their final version of Eset V5......But it is not possible to update Eset 5 using Offline Updates because offline update  is possible in Business Edition of Eset Nod32 and as of now the Business Edition of Eset V5 is yet to be released in the first few months of 2012 ....So for now Offline updates will not work with Eset V5.




Update: This 21st century generation is very impatient :D ....We can't wait till 2012.....So, here is the trick with which you'll be able to update your Eset 5.........All credit goes to Syidi for this wonderful tweak :)

Follow These Steps :


#1. Uninstall Eset 4 or any other Security Software and install setup of Eset V5..

#3. Open "Eset fix" and tick on option "Enable Self-Defense after using fix" and press "Fix it"..

Note: If Eset fix doesn't work for you, then try Pure Fix

Your Eset V5 is activated now and the "Edit" tab is pressable now.....So update it using offline updates and follow the same steps that u follow while doing offline updates in Eset V4...Download offline updates from here

Finally My Blog Is Deleted ;)

After blacklisting my blog, finally my blog "esetupdates4u.blogspot.com" has been deleted and reason is still the same....They cant allow anyone to share their premium updates free of cost....When my blog was deleted, my email address was flooded with email of Eset users....Just want to tell u all that there is nothing to worry about....As i have already told u that when they will delete my blog, i'll create a new one....So here is my new blog....Download updates and protect ur computers from viruses and malwares :)
